SplitEven: Bill & Tip
Split a USD bill with subtotal, tax, tip and extras assigned to people. Copy or share the calculated amounts when you choose. The app does not require an account or save bill history.

People and text drafts
Add people manually or choose one phone number in Apple’s Contacts picker. Review text opens an editable native Messages draft initially addressed to the chosen number, with that person’s breakdown and the bill total. Review the recipient and amounts before tapping Send. SplitEven does not send texts automatically. If Messages is unavailable, use Copy breakdown.
Tax and restaurant fees
Enter your own tax percentage; the app remembers it on your device for next time. Enter 0% if there is no tax. Clearing the tax-rate field clears the remembered rate.
Tax, tip and percentage restaurant fees use the subtotal. Fixed restaurant fees are added once. Fees are shared evenly and are outside the tip base. Assigned items are portions of the subtotal, rather than additional charges. Check your restaurant receipt, and avoid entering the same service charge as both a fee and a tip.
The current bill, fee entries and chosen recipients are not restored after the app is terminated. Only the tax percentage is remembered by the app.
